Godø Lodge used to be a farmhouse with an adjacent barn, which is now the Godø Barn event venue. It sits in a peaceful rural area, surrounded by green pastures and backed by the beautiful Godø mountain. Right outside the front door, you’ll find a breathtaking piece of Scandinavian landscape, with ever-changing light and weather. During either endless summer nights or fierce winter storms, Godøya is a place to find peace - or adventure!

Godø Lodge was renovated in 2021, and lots of love and care have been put into the decor. We want our guests to feel at home, while at the same time enjoying all the comforts of a luxury boutique hotel. The kitchen, bathrooms, and other facilities are top flight, but the best thing is the view!

Godø Lodge is a self-catered holiday home, with all the amenities you need for a comfortable holiday. Food, cooking, and cleaning services are not included in the stay.

If you wish to make arrangements for additional services, please feel free to ask! There are excellent shops and restaurants in the nearby town of Aalesund (20 minutes by car). Godøya Island has a lovely local supermarket within walking distance for everyday items.

There are numerous tips on what to do, eat, see, and buy in the local area, as well as information about local services, available in the guide provided at the lodge.
